Reviews
My husband and I have nothing but praise for Nicole as her work was very professional and thorough. I needed her when my Foley catheter had a problem while we were in Florida. She came right away and took care of it along with looking over my recurring bed sores. We will certainly be using her nursing service when we are in Florida

You cannot do better than Nicole for professional in-home nursing care. I recently used her service to help with wound care. The results were amazing, and she even trained my husband to care for the site between her visits. Without her help, I wouldn't have healed as rapidly as I did. What I most appreciate is that she communicates. I echo the other comments regarding appointments and punctuality. It's always a pleasure to have Nicole in our home. You can trust her to bring joy, comfort, and expertise.

I was extremely depressed about my health situation and I was lucky enough to have Nicole to get me through the hardest times when I was losing faith in my surgery, my doctor and myself. She is a great nurse and my friend.

Nicole/Compass Home Nursing Solutions and I go back a ways. She has nursed/helped me though it all and always has been honest, professional and down right hard nosed on getting me right. For example, she discovered a staple left in me for 3 months, told the Dr and 4 of his nurses could not find it, I came home she found it again, I gave it to the nurses the next time I went in. She's great, she's what right in nursing care and home health administration.

We have been pleased with Nicole from Compass Home Nursing Solutions for our home healthcare. Her professionalism, care, concern, and explanations have been a blessing to us. Her attention to detail is exceptional, from phone calls to schedule appointments, to arriving on time, to answering all our questions. She has made us feel at ease knowing our needs were being addressed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for home health care. You will certainly benefit from using Compas Home Nursing Solutions.

My 6 year old daughter had an accident at the bmx track which called for stitches. When Nicole saw her several days later she inspected them and brought to my attention that they needed to be removed. I had no idea what I was going to do, Nicole said no worries its what I do. She did such an amazing job and was very professional, sterile, compassionate and caring that my daughter wasn't scared or worried. Her chin looks amazing and is healing wonderfully. Nicole is not just a wonderful nurse but a wonderful person in general and I recommend her for your nursing needs.

FAQs
What area does Compass service?
Compass covers Lakewood Ranch, FL and the surrounding areas. Outside of Lakewood Ranch or for distances greater than 10 miles, a fee of $1.50 per mile may be added. This will be disclosed in advance if so.
What insurance do you take?
We do not accept insurances. The biggest reason being, they don’t let us provide the care you deserve without limitations and restrictions, if you even qualify. Insurances do not cover custodial (chronic/long-term) care needs such as medication management, ostomy management, or non-healing wound care, which we do happily. Compass can provide care within or below the scope of the nursing practice in Florida.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, Credit Card, Zelle (1% fee), NFC (ApplePay, Google Pay, etc.), and Venmo. Please note, a 3.5% charge will be added for payments other than cash, check, or Zelle.
When do I have to pay?
You can pay in advance of the services for a set number of scheduled upcoming home visits or pay at the time of each service. There are no contracts or minimum visit requirements.
What if I need a same-day visit or need to be seen on a weekend or holiday?
For circumstances that require urgent care or last minute adjustments to the visit schedule, a charge of up to $30 may be added. This fee will also be applied if a visit is canceled less than 24 hours in advance or if the visit takes place on a major holiday or a weekend.
Compass was established to provide the compassionate bedside care from long ago, favoring God’s predetermined, natural intentions and balancing today’s advanced knowledge and technology.
I like to think Compass Home Nursing Solutions is set apart from any other similar service because my business is conducted from a zealous desire to get back to the way God intended life on Earth to be. I believe He gave us everything we need to survive and thrive. Plants provide us food, medicine, shelter, and clothes. We have drifted so far from this knowledge and the lifestyle he intended, all in the name of convenience and profit. I want to encourage others through compassionate nursing care, that all our needs can still be met: physical, mental, and spiritual when we take our health back into our own hands.
First, let me be clear, there is certainly a time and place for western medicine, after all, much of it was originally derived from plants and herbs- and even mold! It’s not my goal, or my place, to advise anyone against prescribed medications, but simply to remind people that we have more work to do in caring for one physical body than just swallowing pills around the clock. We shouldn’t be doing more to maintain our car than we do our own ‘vehicle’ through life! Let’s become more informed together about achieving true wellness.
Compass was established to break out of the current “sick care” system model that often puts profit over patients. The system where your insurance now determines what care you can receive, when, by who, and for how long. The system that waits until we are diagnosed with a chronic illness before offering us a magic pill to fix us meanwhile causing a new symptom- leading to yet another pill to silence that discomfort too. The system is riddled with fraud and greed, where finding a trustworthy and compassionate provider is too rare a feat. We need to take our health into our own hands meanwhile, consulting specialists about the details. Our healthcare providers aren’t responsible for our health; they know it, do we?
Compass was established to correct the lie that taking a pill allows us to continue in our lifestyle choices and never change a thing when in reality, the pill is a bandaid for a disease cause that no one wants to discover. We shouldn’t be asking for a pill for our problem before we even know what the problem is.
Compass was established to remind us all of the questions we need to start asking ourselves and our care providers. “What is the root CAUSE of this problem?” and “How do I treat the CAUSE and not just mute the symptoms?”
I agree, its easier to blame genetics for our high cholesterol (or fill in the blank) than to stop eating ultra-processed, genetically-engineered, chemical-riddled, preservative-filled, toxically-dyed, endocrine-disrupting, carcinogen-contaminated “food” that our body cannot digest, stores as fat, and causes an inflammatory response, which eventually alters our immune function. And staying active? Well, who has time for that?
The system is too often fraudulent, profit-driven, and leaving patients neglected, or worse, harmed by the delay in care, polypharmacy, medication errors, or medical malpractice. They realized healthy people don’t turn a large profit. Generally speaking, it is no longer set up to care, but to profit. The sicker we are, the more... well, you get the point.
Did you know:
When did asking questions or becoming informed become a conspiracy?
If you are a health provider, do you truly put your patient’s needs above profit?
With all our cutting-edge knowledge and technology, why aren’t people healthier than ever?
Are we stuck in a downward spiral, reliant on the wrong solutions?
Compass Home Nursing Solutions exists to navigate you to physical, mental, and spiritual wellness-
with compassion.
